Thank you for visiting our site! I started my massage therapy company during the height of the recession, at the end of 2007. Believe it or not, I was a loan officer that had been studying massage therapy for 6 years and was tired of sitting in an office. Massage therapy was more of a hobby for me and it was the only thing that I really enjoyed doing! When I quit my job as a loan officer, everyone told me that I would fail because of the economy. If your anything like me, the word FAIL hit me hard so I decided to find a way to ensure that I would succeed and never fail at what I love to do! With all that in mind, I approached Wood Ranch Golf Club with the idea of implementing massage therapy within the club for the members. They graciously gave me a chance to prove myself at their club! Four years later, I have had the priviledge of getting to know the members and staff at five country clubs in this area! The response to my services and the need to provide therapy to these members was huge! Though it has taken time, I found myself busier than I anticipated!
CCMT provides therapists with a safe, beautiful environment for them to market themselves. The relationships that I have developed with the clubs and the charities, has allowed us to have the best exposure for our businesses! What I have found is that most of the golfers want therapy to relieve pain and improve their golf swing. The problem they seem to have is that they do not know where to go to find quality therapy for their body's needs. What we do is volunteer our time at member golf tournaments and charity tournaments in order to give the golfers a sample of our work. The only successful way that I have found to market myself was through my volunteer work at these tournaments. Once people started having discomfort or pain, I was the one that they called to try to help them! I have never paid for advertising and I have never put an ad in the newspaper yet my business is steadily growing!
My biggest fear for any therapist, is their safety! Many of us go to people's homes or are alone with a client for a good period of time. My safety with these clubs, the members and the people that attend the charity tournaments has never been an issue! I am proud to be a part of all these events and look forward to adding more country clubs and charities to our resume!
All I do is give other therapists an opportunity to join me at these events so that they can grow, be successful and follow their passion!
